Product Description

The DeNovix DS-11+ spectrophotometer uses standard quartz or disposable cuvettes for up to 10 mm pathlength absorbance measurements (190-840 nm). Cuvette applications include nucleic acids, proteins, colorimetric assays, OD600 and custom standard curves. Systems include a cuvette block heater for Kinetics studies from 37-45°C.

SmartPath® Technology
The proprietary algorithms provide ultra-precise results by using real-time absorbance feed assessments to determine the optimum pathlength with which to measure the sample. This enables a best-in-class lower detection limit (0.75 ng/uL dsDNA, 0.60 ng/uL RNA or 0.04 mg/mL BSA) and the highest max detection (37500 ng/uL of dsDNA or 1125 mg/ml of BSA protein).
EasyApps® Software
DeNovix Spectrophotometers and Fluorometers are compact, stand-alone instruments with intuitive, EasyApps® for quantifying DNA, RNA and Protein. Pre-configured apps ensure that workflows are optimized while simple-to-use Custom Method apps enable researchers to quickly create and save methods. EasyApps® software also provides a multitude of choices for reviewing and exporting results. DeNovix SmartQC™ software alerts the user and advises on potential issues.
Always Calibrated
The DS-11 Series uses a high precision screw and optically encoded motor combination to make precise and reproducible pathlength adjustments. The system does not require regular calibration checks. There is no downtime or expense required for routine calibration like many other spectrophotometers.
Best in Class 1 uL Sensitivity and Highest Absorbance Capability
DS-11 Series Spectrophotometers set the industry standard for the lower detection limits of 0.5 -1.0 uL UV-Vis sample analysis. Detect to 0.75 ng/uL dsDNA, 0.60 ng/uL RNA or 0.04 mg/mL BSA. The DS-11 can measure samples with absorbance values as high as 750 absorbance units (at a 1 cm equivalent path length). This translates into 1125 mg/ml of BSA protein or 37500 ng/uL of dsDNA.
Fluorescence Freedom!
DeNovix fluorometers provide researchers with ease-of-use and flexibility like no other fluorometer available.
