Manufacturers Trust D.A.I. Scientific

D.A.I. is proud to continue a 15+ year partnership with Consolidated Sterilizer Systems to offer best-in-class products for sterilization applications. Consolidated has consistently developed innovative sustainability features that lower the cost of ownership and protect the environment.

Consolidated Sterilizer Systems has a rich history of manufacturing steam sterilizers (autoclaves) in Billerica, Massachusetts, since 1946. Through ongoing research and development, they continue to create and integrate innovative technologies into their products that benefit their clients. All of their sterilizers are manufactured in the USA.

Consolidated’s sterilizers use non-proprietary high-quality parts that ensure maximum uptime, which provides users with a low cost of ownership. Parts can be easily obtained from several sources, including local suppliers, authorized service groups or directly through Consolidated.

Sterilizers can consume a lot of water and energy. Consolidated Sterilizer Systems is dedicated to helping architects, building designers and lab planners meet their clients' sustainability goals. They test their equipment to make sure that it exceeds industry standards, as well as aggressively pursue design ideas that help minimize their environmental footprint.

Product Features

X1 Controls
Consolidated’s X1™ sterilizers provide you with a top-of-the-line, simple and intuitive user interface. The X1™ platform is completely menu-driven and allows you to program and monitor sterilizer functions.
Unique Chamber Construction
Consolidated is the only manufacturer to offer both 316L stainless steel and nickel-clad chambers. Choose the chamber that best suits your application while maximizing chamber lifespan.
Sustainability
*Save water and energy in your lab with utility-saving features that are built into our sterilizers. EcoCalendar is a calendar-based automatic start-up and shut-down feature. This feature helps minimize utility consumption and HVAC load through a software controlled, automatic steam shut-off program. Auto Idle Shut-Off helps save energy by shutting the autoclave off when not in use. It functions similarly to a sleep-mode for your home computer. Simply set the desired idle time and the autoclave will enter sleep-mode after the set idle time has elapsed. Press anywhere on the X1 touchscreen to “wake up” the autoclave. The WaterEco® system is a patented, innovative water savings device that easily incorporates into new sterilizers or can be retrofitted to existing systems regardless of manufacturer, drastically reducing water consumption. Based on today’s average utility costs, a single WaterEco® autoclave can save a facility over 60,000 gallons of water per year. That’s the equivalent of $100,000 over a fifteen-year period.
Made To Order
Consolidated offers many autoclave customization options to accommodate your unique lab space.
Low Cost Of Ownership
Consolidated sterilizers are manufactured to be easily serviced and maintained by in-house personnel or your local authorized service technician.

Why D.A.I. Scientific

  • Does It Matter Where You Buy Your Lab Equipment?
Not all lab equipment suppliers are created equal. Here is why you should get a quote from D.A.I. Scientific:
  • Competitive Prices
Since we directly represent the manufacturer, you get the best price available — unlike a distributor who buys the product and then marks up the price to you. We have long term relationships with these manufacturers that provide not only a great price but superior equipment packages.
  • Providing the Right Recommendations
We work with a lot of lab equipment consultants and architecture and engineering firms to provide recommendations for new buildings or renovations. But we’re your resource no matter what. Companies continually call us for ideas and recommendations on equipment purchases even after a project is finished, and we’re happy to help.
  • 50+ Years of Experience
We’ve sold thousands of pieces of lab equipment, which means we know how to avoid common challenges and pitfalls that can occur during a purchase. If you need help with purchasing a single piece of equipment, or an entire lab for a new building, let our experience save you time, money and unnecessary headaches.
  • No Surprise Fees
We believe in complete transparency, which means we won’t surprise you with any fees during the process. We’re up front about our pricing, and our goal is to help you understand the complete cost from order and delivery to setup and training.
  • Training
Our experienced, factory-trained representatives have the specialized knowledge to answer your questions and help you pick out exactly what you need. They can also help you set up your equipment, provide training for you and your lab technicians and answer questions over the lifespan of your product.
  • One-Source Provider
We have a long history of working with market-leading manufacturers, and customer service is our top priority. Whether you need a single replacement unit for your lab or an entire equipment package, D.A.I. Scientific is your one-source provider for all your laboratory equipment needs.
